Bayern close gap to one point in the Bundesliga

Author: Defending champions Bayern Munich reduced the gap between them and current Bundesliga leaders Hertha Berlin to one point as they beat bottom placed Karlsruhe 1-0 at the Allianz Arena. Hertha, who lead Bayern by four points when the week began, crashed to a 2-0 loss at VfB Stuttgart.
Jose Sosa scored the only goal of the game for Bayern against lowly Karlsruhe. Second half strikes from Brazilian Cacau and Sami Khedira gave Stuttgart a surprise 2-0 win at the Mercedes Benz Arena. Armin Veh’s side are now just two points behind Hoffenheim, and are currently sixth in the table.
