Captain Barry Ferguson scored his first goal of the season as Rangers beat Hamilton Academical 1-0 in front of a record 5,895 record at New Douglas Park.

Ferguson let loose a left footed shot into the bottom corner after Hamilton had failed to clear the ball and had allowed it to bobble to Ferguson at the edge of the area.
